What is Staking (Pos) and how is it useful?

Staking means, under the PoS consensus mechanism, the cryptocurrency holders stake their assets to the Mainnet in order to obtain voting power and rewards.

The advantages of Staking include, firstly, it can realize the preservation and appreciation of assets and resist the inflation caused by the additional issuance of tokens; Secondly, the holders can join block validation to maintain the stable operation of the public chain network; Thirdly, they are also able to take part in public chain ecological governance with negligible costs.
